Samsung Epix official Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM
Great news for all Samsung Epix owners, almost 9 months after the official release of Windows Mobile 6.5 they have finally released an update to the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile OS (if we don’t count WM 6.5.3).
Official Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 Windows Mobile 6.5.3 ROM update
As promised by Sony Ericsson, those that own the XPERIA X2 can now download an update that will give your device Windows Mobile 6.5.3, among other little fixes. To get the update, visit the SE Update website. Depending on your region, the update may not be available yet. If not, head to XDA where they show you how to get it sooner.

Windows Phone 7 theme for WM6.5.x and Titanium
A theme inspired by the new Windows Phone 7 for Windows Mobile 6.5.x and Titanium. The goal is to create a nice clean looking theme with a WP7 feel to it. At first it will be (W)VGA compatible. This is a work in progress!
Sony Ericsson releases MR1 upgrade for Xperia X2
The MR1 firmware update supposedly bumps Windows Mobile to 6.5.2, enables video calling, gives users FM Radio access and introduces fast GPS. Previous bugs should also be resolved. If you happen to have an Xperia X2 and want to update, you can do so using Sony Ericsson’s Update Service (SEUS).
HTC HD Mini for UK
It’s the first Windows Phone to sport HVGA 480?320 resolution (which makes us wonder how third party apps will work on it). It’s also HTC’s first Windows Mobile 6.5.3 device.
The HD Mini is due to ship in about a week (April 7 to be exact). The price is ?275, or around $420. If you’re in the US, you can still use the HD Mini, but you won’t get 3G on any carrier.
HTC HD2 official updates
HTC has released two official updates for the HTC HD2 available on the UK Support website.
1. Update for HTC HD2 Facebook Albums
According to the description, “this update for your phone’s Facebook client restores the ability to view your friends’ photo albums”. I personally never had any issues with Facebook photo albums.
2. Update for HTC HD2 Java Message Pop up
This update seems to fix a security issue by preventing “javascript messages from automatically opening when the message notification pops up. This will prevent your phone from opening unwanted and unwelcome applications that are sent to you”.

Windows Phone Starter Edition
A few weeks we got wind that there may be a Windows Phone Starter Edition coming around soon, and it looks like that will come true in the form of Windows Mobile 6.5. GSMArena is reporting that soon, Microsoft will refer to WinMo 6.5 as Windows Phone 6 Start Edition.

Asus Nuvifone M10 with WM6.5.3
Windows Mobile phone are taking the pretty turn and with this new Asus that runs WM6.5.3, it could not look any better. The new Asus M10, is a one of a kind slim, sleek and sexy phone that does not lack in functions. The device comes pre installed with WM 6.5.3 and a 600Mhz processor to power that big OS. The specs are not the greatest, but pretty decent with 4Gb pre installed memory with a 3.5 inch WVGA display and some other trinkets that make it better. The device is yet to be released, but we should get a nice little glimpse at MWC next week.
