HTC Ruby
Recently we saw the first pictures of the new smartphone from HTC, which code name is Ruby. Just these pictures issued that HTC will present a phone with a completely new design. The device is probably intended for the networks of American operator T-Mobile, which is also suggested by the logo in one of the staff, but this doesn’t mean that we will not see it in Europe. According to information, the smart-phone offers 4.3’’ display with qHD resolution and relies on dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, which would make it the fastest smart-phone from HTC Ruby. Mention is also two cameras with resolution – 8MP and 2MP, two hardware buttons – for photos and video capturing, 1GB RAM and Bluetooth 3.0 capabilities.

Probably all of you have already heard about the products of Beats by Dr. Dre. This autumn the technology of Beats Electronics will get wider application, because HTC promises to integrate it in their smartphones. According to the website All Things D, the Taiwanese will invest 300 million dollars in Beats Electronics, which will provide the majority stake of the company and among the objectives of the transaction is to strengthen the positions of HTC brand in the United States. Free Google navigation now on UK Android phones

If you’ve been waiting patiently for a decent, free Sat Nav app for your HTC Desire, Sony Ericsson X10 or any other Android handset you’re in luck as Google have rolled out an update to their Maps application that provides full turn-by-turn navigation on your phone.
Google Navigation has been available for a while in the United States, but Google only flipped the switch for UK customers last night and while most of your were sleeping, your phone was hard at work updating itself.
Google Navigation is available on all Android devices that are running Android 1.6 or higher – regardless of manufacturer.
Handsets that should have received the update include:
- HTC Desire
- Nexus One
- Sony Ericsson X10
- Motorola Milestone
- HTC Legend

HTC Desire review from Russia

HTC Desire – a device with a difficult fate, was released after Google Nexus One, the first-born among the HTC Android-devices on the new platform and at the same time with the HTC EVO 4G in the U.S. market, the flagship company for the operator Sprint, copying stuffing HTC HD2 and even surpassing his and in some ways Samsung Galaxy S.
A Short Guide to HTC HD2 Cases
If you’ve got a bit of kit as nifty as the HTC HD2, chances are you’re going to want to keep your baby as safe as possible – particularly with that massive touchscreen display just begging for something to scratch it. Here’s my pick of a few different HTC HD2 cases that will ensure your phone is protected from the elements as well as keeping it looking pretty darned snazzy.
If it’s security you’re after but you don’t want to make your phone bulky and enormous, the FlexiShield Skin for HTC HD2 is probably your best bet. A strong and durable silicone case fits snugly around the phone and protects from any knocks and bumps your phone might encounter during the day. The rubbery-texture should also provide extra-strength grip to help you hold onto it in the event of a severe attack of butterfingers. And if, horror of horrors, you do find yourself loosing your grip, the case should absorb the worst of the shock. Although I wouldn’t recommend throwing it at the floor in order to test it!
Fancy something a bit more suave and substantial? The Executive Leather Book Case for HTC HD2 is a sophisticated piece made of high quality leather. It’s ideal for business meetings and the office, or simply for marching about pretending that you’re busy and important, like I do. With slots to hold credit cards or business cards, you can keep everything you need in the same place whilst keeping your phone safe, secure and accessible.
But I think my favourite of the bunch is the Noreve Tradition A Case for HTC HD2. This is a top quality leather case which like the Executive Book Case has an extra slot for credits cards. The case gives you easy access to all the important bits, including the camera lens, headphone jack and dock connector. I particularly like the sleek magnetic closing clip that keeps your phone locked away safely. As a bonus, it also comes with a detachable belt clip, so if you’re the sort of person who enjoys wearing your mobile phone like a gun, have at it!
You can find a complete range of HTC HD2 accessories at MobileFun.co.uk, from car chargers to desk cradles to Bluetooth headphones.
